An advanced civilisation is fleeing from there home planet were evolutions of there species has grow, they cannot sustain there civilisation any longer due to the exhaustion or resources, therefore there only option for there species survival is to find a new home, they have scanned the quadrant of any habitual planets yet there was no luck, so they have had to open a subspace fold in order to travel to another quadrant to try and find a planet with the basic requirements. Lets just hope they find it
